Sam and I are good friends. We have been together since last summer. He lives with me, my three brothers, and my mom and dad. We got him at the PicNook in Bridgewater, NY from Miss Jennifer Skoglund. She actively works to ensure misplaced Chinooks always find a good home. Sam is a rescue dog. We call him Uncle Sam sometimes because he is our first Chinook's uncle. When I first saw Sam I knew he was the dog for me. When he got to our house he was shy, but after a couple of weeks he got used to us. He doesn't like wood floors much. He lays on our mat in the kitchen at night. Sometimes he sleeps in my oldest brothers bed. He likes to play with his dog friends Baxter (Chinook), Shelby (Golden Retriever) and Jackson (Blood Hound). Sam has been good. We love him.

A note from the Rescue Committee: Northdown Sam was 10 years old when he came into Chinook Rescue. It truly was love at first sight when Kelsey and Sam first met and from what we hear they have been inseparable since.
